Derbyshire's eight community transport schemes have teamed up with Derbyshire Primary Care Trust to provide extra transport to help you get to health-related services. This will be known as 'aCTive travel'
With more Dial-a-Ride services and community car schemes, people will find it easier to get to their GP, health centre and hospital appointments. It will also mean easier access to specialist clinics such as diabetes, nutritionist and chiropody, to the dentist, optician or pharmacist and to fitness and healthy lifestyle classes.
To find out if these extra services are running in your area you need to contact the Community Transport scheme operating in the your area.
