Two of Ashbourne Community Transport's drivers, Jayne Plunkett and Mike Beardsley recently successfully completed their MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) training and are now qualified to deliver training for both drivers and passengers assistants.
This addition means we now have four qualified trainers who are able to deliver training to other Community Transport schemes and operators as required. Charges apply; contact the office on 0115 9309134 for more information. Additionally, all Erewash Community Transport drivers have now successfully undertaken NVQ Level 2 training, Community Transport.
Amongst other news at Erewash CT, they are awaiting two sixteen seat Mercedes Sprinter minibuses as part of their vehicle replacement plan.
