Bakewell and Eyam Community Transport provides a car-free way for residents and visitors to enjoy a Derbyshire beauty spot.
Forget the stress of driving and parking – leave your car behind and explore the glorious Upper Derwent reservoirs and dams by bus.
Make this exciting and scenic ride part of your visitor experience.
Take the bus part of the way to create a walk back along the valley - or further afield.
Bakewell and Eyam Community Transport has been awarded a one-year contract to run the 222 ‘Derwent Dams Shuttle’ bus service between Fairholmes visitor centre and King’s Tree, at the head of the Upper Derwent valley.
The service operates every 40 minutes on weekends and Bank Holidays, providing a breathtaking journey along the tree-lined shore with superb views across Derwent and Howden reservoirs too.
