Volunteers use their own vehicles to provide one-off essential journeys and are paid a mileage allowance. This service is only available to people who are unable to use public transport or who do not have access to a service.

volunteering is about helping other people in you community. Anyone with time to spare can come along and get involved in some aspect of the organisation, why not become a volunteer passenger assistant or a volunteer driver for your group? Training will be given where necessary; people with new skills are always welcome'.

Training |

All Schemes provide in-house training for volunteers and in many cases, outside organisations and individuals. Driver and Passenger Assistant training is to a recognised standard and is delivered by qualified trainers certified to deliver a comprehensive training programme.
