Holidays

Clowne and district Community Transport has been successful in obtaining funding through the Big Lottery Fund to enable registered Dial-a-Bus passengers (elderly or disabled people who are unable or have difficulty in using conventional forms of public transport) to participate in holiday activities. Passengers will be able to take a partner, friend or carer with them. New line of text.

Rural Initiative

The Rural Access Initiative is a Rural Bus Challenge Project supported by funding from the Department of Transport. It aims to overcome rural transport problems and provide a better quality of life for rural residents. Membership of the rural travel club is open to any community group in the area e.g. luncheons clubs, scout groups, W.I.’s.
