AIl drivers and passenger assistants are CRB (police) checked and cleared and drivers have both DCC and MiDAS mini-bus driver permits. Whilst many of Chesterfield's staff are either full or part time paid employees the Organisation relies heavily on volunteers, These, too, are trained appropriately and carry out many varied duties. Their input is invaluable in permitting Chesterfield to provide a caring service to very many people in the community.
