Bakewell and Eyam Community Transport have updated their volunteer recruitment pack.
We are currently recruiting volunteers to join our fully trained team of minibus drivers and help the scheme to provide over 75,000 journeys each year for groups and individuals in the Bakewell and Hope Valley area who have difficulty meeting their transport needs.
Volunteers are welcomed to join our fully trained team of passenger assistants to provide support to individuals in the Bakewell and Hope Valley areas who have difficulty dealing with shopping or getting around local towns through age or disability.
Volunteers are welcomed to join our team of Car Scheme volunteers who provide registered users of the service who are unable to use other means of transport with the opportunity to access healthcare facilities, social occasions and meetings, day centres and shopping outlets.
Volunteers are welcomed to join our fundraising team and help to organise and run events throughout the year, proceeds from which will support the work of B&ECT, a registered charity which operates wheelchair accessible minibuses for all members of the community.
As a local community transport provider our vehicles are really important to give a good impression. Duties would include general cleaning duties both inside and out of 5 - 16 seater vehicles.
