Volunteers

Anyone with time to spare can apply to become a volunteer, volunteers are needed throughout the day, evenings and weekends.

Those wishing to become a volunteer driver need to hold a current, clean driving licence, be of good health and of a friendly nature. Full training will be provided in all aspects of the job.

Those willing to become a volunteer passenger assistant are sometimes needed to help wheelchair users or possibly to give someone a helping hand around town.

Those willing to become a fundraising volunteer will be asked to join the fundraising group who offer their time for events like street collections, coffee mornings, cake stalls, garden parties and we welcome any new ideas.

Others may wish to get involved by becoming a trustee, this is usually decided every year at the AGM.

To become a volunteer driver please call 01335 300670.
