Dial-a-Ride is for individuals who are over 60 years of age, people with disabilities or those who may be rurally isolated, for journeys of a personal nature, picked up from your door to a destination of your choice.
The Health Appointment Service provides transport to any health related appointment (eg. GP, hospitals, dentists, chiropodist and opticians), to and from your home. Just make your appointment then ring and arrange transport. Health related journeys are available to all individuals and special rates apply on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings through a grant from the Primary Care Trust. Outside these times reasonable rates apply.
